Rev. Steven P. Larson has been
our Senior Pastor since July 2006. He has a B.S. degree in Youth/Family
Ministry from Northwestern College in Roseville, Minnesota, and a
Master of Divinity Degree from North Park Theological Seminary in
Chicago. He and his wife, Cheryl, have three daughters: Emily,
Elliotte, and Danielle. Before coming to Redeemer, Steve served
churches in Cottage Grove, Minnesota, Chicago, Illinois, and Grand
Rapids, Michigan. Steve's passion is to communicate how much each individual, no matter who they are, is incredibly loved by God and that forgiveness and new life is found in Jesus Christ. His life call as a pastor is to help believers live together in a community that is learning how to worship God and show compassion to others, living out the words of Ephesians Chapter 4.
Rev. Todd Kardell is our Associate Pastor of Youth Ministry and has been serving Redeemer Covenant Church since 2001. He received his undergraduate degree in Teaching K-12, Physical Education, and Health Education from Bethel University, and he will be graduating with his Masters of Divinity degree in the spring of 2010 from Bethel Seminary. He has been married to his wife, Charity, since 2002. They have two children, three-year-old Solomon and one-year-old Miriam. Todd loves to see students better understand and embrace God's love and share it with others; he enjoys challenging them to work together to make an impact in this world through serving the Lord.
Seth Lindberg joined us as Associate Pastor of Worship and Outreach in June 2009. He holds a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from Bethel University and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from North Park Theological Seminary. In addition, he has several years of experience as a worship leader, having served at First Covenant in Rockford, Illinois, Faith Covenant in Colorado Springs, Hinsdale Covenant in Illinois and Rock Harbor Covenant in Rocklin, California. Seth and his wife, Sandy, have a two-year-old son, Anders, and a newborn baby girl named Annika.
Elaine Bursch has been a part of Redeemer for 43 years. In 1982, she was called by the congregation to her current position as Director of Congregational Care. As part of her ministry, she has provided leadership to the Stephen Ministry program for 20 years. In addition to her focus on caring for the congregation, she also works extensively coordinating volunteers and arranging special events. She and her husband, Gary, have three grown children and 11 grandchildren. Elaine considers it a great privilege to work for the Lord in the nurture and care of the Redeemer family.
Beverly Scripter joined
us
at Redeemer as Sanctuary Choir Director in September 2008. She has a
Bachelor of Music Degree from North Park University and a Master of
Music Degree from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey.
She is ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church in Specialized
Ministries.
Juanita Carlson
has been our church organist for over 13 years. She also enjoys
teaching piano and organ and loves to train students for church music
ministry.
