Redeemer Library is Open Sundays between services Located off the central hallway, the Redeemer Library is open for business every Sunday between services! Volunteer librarians can help you find materials on subjects like marriage and family life, missionary stories, Bible study, and Christian living. Shelves are labeled for sections such as fiction, biographies, commentaries, and youth. Children will love their choices for videos, books, and magazines.
For current events, the periodicals rack holds issues of The Covenant Companion, Today's Christian Woman, and The Minnesota Christian Chronicle. - Books and magazines can be checked out for 3 weeks
- Videos can be checked out for 1 week, limit 2 per family
- Sermon CDs can be checked out for 1 week
Audio CDs of the entire worship service are available to order in the Redeemer library.
Doing some fall cleaning? Make a clean sweep of the kids' bedrooms and toy boxes, your nightstands, family room media cabinet, and all vehicles. Then fill up the library's "return drop-box" with items you checked out over three weeks ago. No overdue fees are charged, and you'll feel better about checking out new items for your reading pleasure. Thanks!
Library News Question: Where do you begin your search for reliable information on topics such as prayer, worship, evangelism, grief, care-giving? Answer: http://www.covchurch.org/ (website of the Evangelical Covenant denomination) This website’s resources section contains a wealth of information in the form of bibliographies, which will be helpful for preparing to teach Bible studies or classes, for personal study, and simply for finding an interesting book to read. To access these topical bibliographies from www.covchurch.org home page: - On the left side of the page under resources, click Covenant Resources.
- In the center of the new page, enter Bibliography in the search box and click search.
- You should then see a list of about 25 topics, with an option of a second page of another 25 topics.
- You can then click on any topic to get more information.
For each topic, you will find a list of books (all the basic information, including ISBN number), a summary of each book, and in many cases organizations or websites which are related to the topic.
