Developing and strengthening one's walk with the LORD is center to all that we do at Our Saviour's.

We invite you to join us as we re-establish our strong, country-church heritage. May God's kingdom continue to flourish and grow through His house and people.  From generation to generation, may we never forget what our LORD has done for us and continues to do through us.

Are you ready to Akaloo?

The name Akaloo is inspired by the Greek word áêïëïõÈåéí : akolouthein (“to follow”). Jesus said to his disciples, “Follow me.” Drop your nets. A new life awaits you.

Akaloo is based on this simple call to discipleship. Akaloo is following Jesus as body of Christ.

Akaloo offers a program of intentional discipleship that covers the entire lifespan, children through adults.  The following link will bring you to the exclusive Our Saviour's Lutheran Church Akaloo website:

The five lifelong Akaloo goals are:

  1. Discover more fully what the Bible says and what it means for your life.
  2. Experience God as a gracious God who is actively working to save and bless the world.
  3. Become a disciple who lives more fully into the life that Jesus called His people to live.
  4. Celebrate more fully in the life and mission of the people of God who are blessed to be a blessing.
  5. Embrace God's world and fully share in the life of that world which Christ died to save.

With these objectives in mind the Akaloo studies are divided into five Main areas:

  • Discovering the Bible: How can the Bible help me?
  • Experiencing God: Does God really have a plan for my life?
  • Becoming a Disciple: What about relationships?
  • Celebrating Church: Why are there so many different kinds of Christian churches?
  • Embracing the world: Isn't faith just a private thing?

Because Akaloo is meant for people of all age groups, areas of study are developed for each of the following age groups:

  • Adventure Alphabet: Age 3
  • All Around God's World: Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
  • I Can Find It! : Grades 1-2
  • Johnny Dakota and Travel Fish: Grades 3-4
  • The Scoop Troop: Grades 5-6
  • Serve the Lord! : Grades 7-8
  • Questions for Life: Matthew's View: Grades 9 and up
  • Adult Studies: Teens and Adults
  • Intergenerational Studies: To combine people of all ages groups, great for small group setting

All  activities may be done from the comfort of your home, with just your own family.  Or invite friends and family over for some "quality time" together.
