New Spirit United Church of Christ--
A Brief History

New Spirit began life in 1993. New Spirit had been a traveling congregation without a place to call their own. Meetings were held in homes and a small trailer was unpacked then repacked each Sunday with the items for worship and church school. We all prayed for the day when we would have a permanent home, much as our spiritual ancestors must have prayed for their arrival in the "Promised Land."

Our vision has taken on a new dimension. The Holy Spirit continues to lead us to a new focus. We are ready and able. We invite you to join us in taking the next steps along the journey and make it your own, too.
