MARK YOUR CALENDERS!!

   March is full of Lenten Dinners and discussion of Paul Nixon’s topics.  More details about the discussions will announced closer to the dates.  The dates for the dinners are Wednesday, March 3, 17, and 31.  Sign-up sheets are available at the church.  If you cannot make the Wednesday meeting, there will be additional conversations on Sunday, March 7 and 21 and April 11 from 3:50 to 5 pm.

    April’s event for members and friend or visitors is a trip to the Comedy Sportz show on Saturday, April 24 for the 8 pm show.  This an all ages, family friendly, competitive improvisation.  The venue is at the Calhoun Square area.  Group rates are available for 15 or more and includes reserve seating, so let’s go have a laugh! Deadline for sign-up is Sunday March 21 with payment due at that time.

    June will feature a picnic at Cleary Lake. If any want to bike it, please contact Tim Pray.  If enough bikers show interest then we’ll pedal and roll our way there.

    Back by popular demand, drum roll please………..The Time and Talent Silent Auction is coming in July.   Start thinking of what you can offer to donate for the fundraising efforts.  Tim is once again offering some custom stained glass to the highest bidder.  Remember some other great things there were to bid on, Pastor Nichols offered a sermon last time.  There was a great wine and cheese party as well as fondue parties, too.  Car washes, tours of flight centers, trips to the zoo.  These are just a few things that were offered for bidding.  Or if you can gather prizes from area merchants for bidding,  there are many different ways to contribute to this year’s Silent Auction.  It is truly as good to give as to receive in this event.
