M&M - Moderator's Moment   

  November popped up fast, but the way our shopping areas look, one would think it was Christmas.

Those of us at New Spirit do welcome November with its fall colors and it’s also a time to celebrate our UCC heritage.  We are grateful for the church the Pilgrims and Puritans started.  Yes, our denomination has changed since the Colonial days.   A Congregational typical prayer could last an hour, not to mention men and women sat on opposite sides of the church.  Our worship at New Spirit does not resemble that of the Pilgrims, but we do worship and give thanks for our blessings. All are welcome here at New Spirit and to share in worship with us Happy Thanksgiving and blessing for the good things in our lives.
