THOSE WHO MINISTRY TO US
Our ministers are those who deliver the word of God to us, expounding the truth insightfully, and elaborating on the nature and content of the Word of God -- particularly as it relates to the Gospel of Christ. They have been chosen because of their grasp of the truth and ability to communicate it with power.
As of September 2008, brother Blakely is ministering on (1) The book of Titus, (2) The book of Acts, and (3) Divine Nomenclature. Brother Hutchcraft is ministering on (1) The Holy Spirit, and (2) The book of Ephesians. Brother Sims is ministering on (1) The Eighth Chapter of Romans, and (2) the Book of First John. Brother Cobb is ministering on (1) First Thessalonians, and (2) The Book of James. Brother Williams is ministering on the book of Philippians. Brother Michael Blakely is ministering on the book of Zechariah. Brother Gene Hutchcraft is ministering on the 119th Psalm.
Sister June Blakely -- Sister June teaches monthly on the book of Second Peter during our Lord's Day morning class. Durimng this session, there is also extensive discussion.
Given O. Blakely has been ministering the Word since 1952, and is author and editor of The Word of Truth quarterly. In 2008 his new book "God's Everlasting Kingdom," was released -- a 536 page treatise of the Kingdom of God. Aaron Hutchcraft has been ministering the Word since 1993, Ricky Sims since 1994, Robert Cobb since 1992, and Jeremy Williams since 2005, Gene Hutchcraft since 1978, Michael Blakely since 1999. Sister June has been teaching since the 1980's. Each have unique strengths, and are able to focus on focus on proper things.
