Here are 2 very good, "FREE" Bible software downloads, once installed, you do not need a web connection to use them.

E-Sword Has built in word processor for preparing your own outlines, studies and sermons

Online Bible Does not have a word processor, but does have a very good cross referencing tool and other features that E-Sword does not

Both of these are much easier to use than either Biblesoft or Quickverse, but to say which one is better, well, that is for you to decide
