There will be two weddings during the month of August for members of our Church.  Caroline Thomas’ wedding will be on August 16th.  Vickie Prevost’s wedding will be on August 23rd.

GREAT RIVER REGION ASSEMBLY

Plans are bing made for the GRR Regional Assembly that will be held on November 7-9, 2008 at FCC Bentonville, AR.  The theme this year is “Strength for Today; Hope for Tomorrow”.

The Disciples of Christ Historical Society has assembled a new website to promote the celebration of the bicentennial of the “Declaration and Address”.  The new page is full of wonderful information and historical background on the Disciples movement, then and now.  Go to www.greatcommunion.org and take a look around.

2020 VISION STUDY

There are two study sessions scheduled for August.  Make your plans to come and join in the study and discussions.  Meetings will be on August 5th and August 19th beginning at 7:00 p.m.

New Seekers will be giving a Recipe Shower Brunch honoring Caroline Thomas on Saturday, August 9 from 10:30 till 12:00 noon.
