Our canned food project is still on going. Remember to bring your extra cans of food. It will be delivered to places of need. There is a need for food year round, not just during the Holidays.

BIBLE STUDY
If you would like to learn more about the Bible, a group meets each Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m.

DIABETIC SUPPORT GROUP
The diabetic support group meets the second Wednesday of each month at 2:00 p.m. The meeting is open to diabetics & their support persons. If you are a new diabetic or have been one for years, there is always something to learn.

YOUTH
Several Activities are being planned for the Youth this summer. There will be movies and pizza at the Church. There will be a swimming party at Lee and Regina’s and a swimming party at Bob and Doris’s. Move information about the activities will be announced later.
The youth attended a Braves baseball game last month and enjoyed the fireworks display after the game.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation Bible School was June 1st through June 5th at the Utica Baptist church. The Christian Church, Utica Methodist Church and the Carpenter Methodist will be joining the Baptist Church for Vacation Bible School. The Children learned a lot and had a good time while learning.

PASTORAL NURSE
We are going to ask parents to fill out information forms on their children. They will only need to fill out portions that have changed (such as phone number, address, new needs or allergies. We appreciate your cooperation with this.

NEW CARPET
The new carpet has been installed and looks great. We are asking for donations to help pay for this. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated.

BABY DEDICATIONS
On June 1st Stephen and Austin Hughes sons of Randall and Melissa Hughes were dedicated. There was a large number of family members present for this special occasion.
On June 22nd Kimberly Love Strickland, daughter of Kerri and Burt Strickland III was dedicated. Kimberly also had a large number of family members present.
