Vibrant Praise And Worship

Believers from all walks of life express themselves freely with every form of scriptural praise and worship. God inhabits the praises of Isreal (Psalms 22:3) and strengthens (Psalms 8:2, Matthew 21:16) His people thereby. Therefore, ample space is allowed for believers to reach out to God in praise with all their hearts. No one will be forced to worship in any specified way, for worship must be a freewill offering of our lips. (Psalms 199:108)

Listed below are some of the scriptural expressions of praise with which you will find believers worshipping God during the services:

Uplifted Hands-
Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord. (Psalms 134:2 NKJV)

All Types of Instruments-
Praise him with the trumpet sound; praise him with the flute and harp! Praise him with the tambourine and dance; Praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with clanging cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! (Psalms 150:3-5 NRSV)

Standing-
Praise the LORD! ...You who stand in the house of the LORD, In the courts of the house of our God, (Psalms 135:2 NKJV)

Kneeling, Bowing and prostration-
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. (Psalms 95:6 NKJV)

Dancing-
Let them praise His name with the dance; let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp. (Psalms 149:3 NKJV)

Clapping and Shouting-
Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! (Psalms 47:1 NKJV)

Speaking in tongues-
Therefore, bretheren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. (1 Corinthians 14:39 NKJV)

Tabernacle of Prayer has been blessed with some of the most gifted and anointed musicians and singers anywhere. The Tabernacle Choir and Praise Team ministers each Sunday morning worship service.
