On September 11, 2011, we will celebrate Rally Sunday.  This is when Sunday School and Adult Bible Study start anew for the year.  On that day, there will be prizes and games.  Then there will be Sunday School sign-ups for students of all ages.  Indeed, what the children learn about the faith in Sunday School is just as important, if not more so, than their public school education, to help them live productive and God-pleasing lives.

            The elementary school group will have the customary curriculum. The middle school kids will focus on issues and life situations common to that age group.

            In addition, the Adult Bible Study will feature a study on what it means to be a church, and how we are to live and work as the body of Christ in light of Christ's mandates to make disciples, witness to Him, and serve others.

            There will also be 4 to 5 new discipleship groups in which to participate.

            As we move into the new 'spiritual' school year, let us all commit to getting in the Word, teaching, learning and growing as God directs us to live productive, God pleasing, healthy lives.  Let us all allow God to grow us spiritually.
