The Mission and Purpose of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church is to:

*preach and teach the Word of God with a view to bring people to faith in Christ;

*establish and strengthen the faith of its members by further religious instruction and the administration of the sacraments;

*develop and marshal the talents of individual Christians for the benefit of God's kingdom at large;

*further the church life of its members by fostering fellowship and works of charity;

*increase our Lutheran witness in the Southern Shelby and Northern Desoto county areas;

*cooperate with other distinctive Christians in our community whenever possible, within the framework of our confessional stance.

You can become a member of Beautiful Savior By:

*being baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; --for infants and children who have never been baptized.

*attend the Pastor's instruction class in order to learn the doctrines and teachings of the Lutheran Church. Adults who have not been baptized will be baptized at the completion of the instruction classes.

*transferring your church membership; --for those who currently hold membership at another Lutheran Church.

*reaffirmation of faith; --for those who have been baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith but no longer hold church membership.
