Welcome to First Lutheran Church of Plains, MT. Plains is a small town of about 1200 people. The members of this congregation and community are individuals who demonstrate their caring by

Proclaiming God's Word through Christian and Lutheran teachings by Worship, Service, Study and Outreach

We are a small congregation of about 60 families who are involved in a variety of both church and community activities. We offer different styles of worship opportunities from the traditional to the contemporary. We at First Lutheran find our center in Jesus Christ, crucified and risen. Each week, we gather for worship to hear and taste God's Word of forgiveness and new life. And each week, we are sent out into the community, empowered by the Holy Spirit, to love and serve our neighbor. We welcome all people – young and old and in-between – to join us for worship on Sunday morning.
