The North Carolina Conference Lay Organization is apart of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, Second Episcopal District.  We are one of five (5) Conference Lay Organizations (Washington Conference, Baltimore Conference, Virginia Conference, and Western North Carolina Conference).

The North/South borders of the conference extend from the Virginia/North Carolina State line southward to the North Carolina/South Carolina State line.  From the West/East border extends from Interstate 95 to the Atlantic Ocean.
