Spotlight on our Ministries

Our ministries are arranged to give everyone an opportunity to participate.

• Sunday School
  • We have classes for children, teens and adults.  It is a time to share with one another and to learn together.
• Children's Ministry
  • Nursery & Children's Church are provided during Sunday Morning Worship.  We have a devotional time with a lesson, crafts and a snack.  Friends - a ministry for children is conducted on Wednesday evenings.  In our society today, children are neglected and abused, but Jesus said, "Suffer the little ones to come unto me."
• Women's Ministry
  • Services are held once a month.  Our Women's Ministry works with the missionary program to help send funds to spread the gospel all over the world. 
• Youth Ministry
  • The youth of today do not need new ideas, new games or new types of Bibles.  They need our "love, God's Word, fellowship and examples set by the leaders of the church.  We always put God first.
• Radio Ministry
  • 5 Minutes to Victory - WOBX -1530 am                               Monday-Friday at 5:15 PM 
• Wednesday Night Services
  • These are held just like an old cottage prayer meeting the old-fashioned way.  We share our prayer requests with each other and then sit back and listen to God's Word.  
• Bereavement Ministry
  • When a loved one has departed from this world to go to their final resting place, it is a comfort to the family when friends are there to help in their time of sorrow.  The Bereavement Ministry is a comfort to the many people who have experienced that loss.  They provide a shoulder to cry upon and help with the daily preparation of meals, as well as a special prayer for each person whose heart is grieving for their loss of a precious loved one.  Jesus said, "I will go to prepare a place for you, that where I am you may be also."
• Food Pantry
  • We have started a Food Pantry to help needy families during the winter time.  A lot of our local people have seasonal jobs and may struggle during the winter months, so we felt led to help our neighbors who may be in need.  Jesus said, "When you do these things unto one of mine, you do them unto Me."
