I Corinthians 14:33                    “Why so much confusion? “

Confusion=to make unclear, disorder, lack of clearness, embarrassment, a clouding of consciousness, turmoil, distraction from the truth

Today we have traded comfort for confusion, tongues for the touch of God!

Why do we see so much confusion, corruption, and calm?

(Spiritual apathy!) Bless me if you can!

Confusion about the Holy Ghost! (TV preachers have brought a lot of confusion)

Confusion about a Holy God! (He will accept me as I am without salvation) (Lifestyles)

Paul was trying to point out what Acts 2: was all about. They heard the Gospel! What a miracle!

* Men do not behave in the Church today

James 3:16 - For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

Throwing Bibles in Church instead of living by them!

Throwing fits in Church instead of having fits!

Running their mouths instead of running the isles!

Fighting one another instead of fighting the Devil!

Yes…How shameful it is for men to fight and fuss in the Lord’s House! (Not because of too much love)

Leviticus 26:2 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.

Sunday was a holy day…Now just another day. Cut the grass!

Remove their hats and open their hearts . Now they come in and go out (Routine)

Matthew 21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

A PLACE TO WORSHIP!

* Men do not believe in the Church today

Some confusion is because we lack understanding?

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free .

The truth! Isn’t what I decide it is, or what I would like it to be (MEN NEED TO LINE UP WITH THE BOOK )  

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free , ye shall be free indeed.

We have freedom….We shouldn’t be confused on who we worship, or how we worship!  

When we do not trust God or his word we will be in a state of confusion.

Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Sign seekers looking for a sign instead of looking by faith! *Prayer cloth instead of prayer.

Church membership instead of God’s mercy and grace.

John 4:48 Then said Jesus unto him, Except ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe .

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believe th on me hath everlasting life.

* Men do not bless the name of the Lord in the Church today

Today they would rather blow on a crowd, than bless the name of Christ!

I Timothy 2:8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.

When men start praising God peace fills their hearts, Stop praising God and confusion will come in.

Confused about doctrine, confused about direction, and confused about devotion!

God is not the author of confusion! He is the author of truth!

A lot of confusion today in out pulpits, and pews and the people of God!
