Jude 20-25         "Making a difference"
Many would ask how can i make a difference?
Look at verse 20
* The way we lift up Jesus can make a difference
Yes, people are watching you. You may be the spark which starts the flame of fire in the service.

* Seen in a life of prayer Praying in the Holy Ghost!

The indwelling Holy Spirit helps me in my limitations and weaknesses, specifically in my praying.
Ephesians 6:18 - Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; 

Matthew 21:22 - And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.  

* Heard by lips of praise Our mouth should express what is in our hearts...No praise in the heart, no praise from the lips.
Sad to say this is evident in the church of today.
Hebrews 2:12 - Saying, I will declare thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto thee.

We tend to get loud over earthly things, but not heavenly things! Some one will hit a baseball out of the park, and we can not hardly contain ourselves, some one get saved, and we do not get excited about that.
Hebrews 13:15 - By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
* The way we love can make a difference read verses 21- 22

look at the statement KEEP YOURSELVES IN THE LOVE OF GOD! (That means you could lose it...Not your salvation, but your love for God)

Never see a church split over too much love, or too much kindness. It comes by lack of these qualities.
* Love the saints

1 John 3:14 - We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. 

John 15:12 - This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you

John 15:17 - These things I command you, that ye love one another. 
This is not a request, but a command.
* Love the sinner
 Luke 5:32 - I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.  

Invite them to church..Invite them to know the love of God!
Read verse 22 "What's makes the difference"
I remember all those people down threw the years who showed me what l;ove was all about..Not about self, or selfishness. Serving others needs with out expecting any thing in return.
All the saints in the past who brought the love of God to church made a difference.
* The way we live can make a difference

If we look like the world, dress like the world, act like the world, we can not make a difference in this world, because we would be just like the world!

2 Corinthians 6:14 - Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
* A life of dedication "Faithful"

2 Timothy 4:7 - I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:  

* A life of direction "Fruitful"

 Matthew 7:14 - Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 

I want to make a difference!
