PROVERBS 29:18         "The value of vision"               MARCH 28, 2007

Many today lack a clear vision. The flesh has blinded the saints today to what true vision is all about! The vision has been lost to fleshly desires, and fleshly deeds.

* We need to see what is real

I like the real things! I would rather eat real food! I would rather have real love! Real is so much better than fake!

Many have traded a real Bible (KJV) for a fake! They traded the truth for a lie!

* We need to see the truth (Not a version of the truth, but the truth)

John 8:32  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.  
John 17:17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.  

* We need to sense the touch of God (I John4:1)

Better know it is the Spirit of God, and not another spirit!

Romans 8:14  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

* We need to see what is right

Doing right is still the right thing to do, Being right with God is still the only way to Heaven (You must be born again)

* Honesty

IICorinthians 8:21  Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men

Honesty is just about gone in the Pulpit, and the Pew!

I remember a story about this man and his son walking up a rural road day after day, and seeing a beatiful apple tree over in a fenced in orchard. The father told his son one day we will go over the fence and get some apples when no one will be looking....The day came, the father said to his son you look east and west, and i will look north and south, and we will steal some apples....his son said father you forgot to look one way. His father looked at him with a puzzled look..Which way? His son replied "We forgot to look up" The lord see'e it all!"

* Honor

Proverbs 22:1  A GOOD name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.  

Do you remember when a man's name meant something, just as his word did. Their was a time when you could take a man at his word. 

* We need to see what is required

* Faith is required (Not works)

John 6:47  Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

You must believe to see!

II Corinthians 5:7 - (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 

* Faithfulness is required

I Corinthians 4:2  Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. 

Some have been found to be lazy, Some have been found to be sorry. Will you be found faithful.

Let us not lose the value of vision, Let us see the need of souls to be saved, and saints to be  spiritual.

Most of all do not lose your vision, because if you do PEOPLE WILL PERISH!
