Hebrews 9:11-12            "We need the blood!"

The blood does not offend a christian, it offers life eternal! Salvation is not by baptism, or being a baptist, it is all because of the blood!

Hymns should be saturated in the blood! Hearts should be saturated in the blood! Let our songs be covered by the blood, let our sermons be covered by the blood of Jesus!

*The blood hasn't lost it's power!

Colossians 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins.

* Forgiving Power

* Freeing Power

John 8:36 If the son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

You can be free from that old sinful course. You can be free from that old shameful condemnation.

What can wash away my sin....Nothing but the blood of Jesus!

* The blood hasn't lost it's place!

In Exodus 12: we see how important the blood was as death came by that night any house that did not have the blood applied to the door posts realized too late they needed the blood. We need the blood applied to our hearts!

* Shed for man's soul

Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Sorry Campbellites it is not the water, but the blood! Repent and then get baptized!

The baptistry will only get you wet. If you are not converted before you step into the water! So many people have went to Hell only being baptized, or a baptist instead of being born again!

The blood was not spilled at calvery (ACCIDENTAL), but shed on the cross (WITH PURPOSE)

* Shed for man's salvation

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ out Lord.

How long does eternal life last? Eternally! (John 10:27-30) Etenally sealed (Ephesians 4:30)

Too many have been churched, but not changed!

* The blood hasn't lost it's purpose!

Many feel they no longer need the blood! Sad to say when many  find out they do need it it will be too late!

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

* It's purpose to convert sinners

Read Acts 20:28 You are a purchased possession if you are born into the Family of God! The Church! the bride of Christ!

Luke 5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

* It's purpose is to cover sin

Psalm 32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

Thank God it's covered. Do not try to cover it up! Get it all under the blood of Jesus! If it's covered by the blood of Jesus! My prayer is that you are born again by the blood of Jesus!
