Mills River Bible Church

All our regular services have a fully-staffed nursery.

Worship (): We seek to engage with the LORD Jesus Christ through exalting worship. We honor God through thoughtful and creative music, prayers, Scripture reading, and biblical instruction. We have room for you to add your voice to ours!

Life Classes (): Following our worship service additional opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship, and encouragement are available for all ages .

Community Group Ministry: MRBC enjoys a variety of Community (small) Groups focused on building our fellowship, enriching our prayer lives, and reaching out to those unacquainted with conventional Sunday worship. This ministry is not static. We often form and birth new groups. Contact the church office for additional information (828.891.9313, MillsRiverBible@aol.com).

Women by Design: If you want to go deeper in your faith, have an opportunity to connect with other ladies, or just get out of the house for a time of encouragement and bible study Women by Design is for you. Come join this exciting ministry on Wednesday mornings from 10 AM to noon.

Men's Breakfast: Our men meet in two locations for mutual encouragement and fellowship during the week: at the church Friday mornings at 6:30 AM, or at the Dutch Cupboard in Etowah on Wednesdays at 7:30 AM. Come and join us at your leisure.

Communion (1st Sunday of each Month): Monthly we pause to highlight Christ's redemptive work and honor Him with thankful praise. Communion services are the high point of our corporate worship times, and are followed by a fellowship meal.

Common Visitor Questions?

How should I dress?  Dress comfortably. Those who worship with us wear everything from jeans and T-shirts to suits and ties.

What about children? You choose. A fully staffed nursery is provided for babies and toddlers. Children pre-K to 6th grade begin the worship service with their parents and are dismissed to children's church at the beginning of the pastor's sermon. Some parents prefer to keep their children with them during the entire service.

What is your worship service like? We enjoy a wide variety of music styles, solos, scripture readings, and prayers aimed at glorifying our great God and Father. We proclaim the crucified and resurrected Lord Jesus Christ as the answer to all human need, with a particular emphasis on how His life, teachings, and offer of redemptive love applies to our modern world. Bring a bible if you like (your choice of translation). If you have questions, doubts, a hungering or cynical heart, or would just like to know more about Jesus Christ, you are welcome among us.

Other questions? Feel free to E-mail our pastor, PastorStanMRBC@aol.com, or call the church office (828.891.9313).
