Sound doctrine is not a stodgy, but necessary, part of any ministry. The very truths of God encapsulated in proclamation and promise are what make life rich and full. Just as amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, which in turn are required for sustenance of the body, solid truths from the Scriptures form the beautiful fabrics of life. So, we are commanded to adorn ourselves with the doctrine of God unto all things (Titus 2:10).
