Rev. J. Curtis Goforth, O.S.L.

Curtis has been the pastor of Badin UMC since June of 2005.  He is a 2000 graduate of Berea College with a B.A. in Philosophy and Religion, and he is a 2004 graduate of Duke University Divinity School where he earned a Master of Divinity degree.  He is married to Jennifer Goforth who is a teacher at Running Creek School and they have a young daughter named Cora.   

Mrs. Carrie Couick, Choir Director

Carrie has been our Choir Director for a number of years--and she plays the flute!  She has two daughters, Braelyn and Sydney.  She is married to Michael Couick, a detective in Albemarle. 

Mrs. Louise Ward, Organist

Louise has been our organist for some while. She also plays the piano from time to time and has a gift for both.
