sCommunity Outreachs 

Serve at Homeless Shelter: Volunteers will be preparing and serving supper at Churches United Homeless Shelter one evening per month from January - May.

Build Habitat House: The Casselton community is in the process of organizing a Habitat House to be built this summer. Volunteers will be welcome to help in various areas.

sChristian Educations

Confirmation Classes: Confirmation classes for 7th - 11th graders are held for six to twelve week sessions during the school year. Additional six week classes for fifth and sixth graders are also held. Confirmation Sunday for eleventh graders is held each October. See youth opportunities or call the church office at 347-4289 for more information.

Church School: Sunday school classes for children ages three years through eighth grade are held at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday from September - May. Rally Day will be held on the second Sunday in September. A potluck meal and games are held as a part of this celebration.

Noon Bible Study in Fargo: A noon Bible Study meets at Grazies in Fargo every Wednesday at noon to study sermon texts. Join us if you have a free noon hour.

Adult Education: The adult education group meets every Sunday morning during the school year at 9:35 a.m. in the Upper Room. A video is watched and discussed. Pastor Paula also leads midweek Bible Study on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. during the school year with the exception of Advent and Lent. Everyone is welcome!

Faith in Film: An adult education group that meets once a month to share a meal, watch a movie and discuss how we can learn about our faith through the characters and storys found in todays movies. If you like to watch movies then this group is for you!

sFamily Activitiess

Family: Family activities are occasionally scheduled. These may include potluck suppers or holiday activities such as Christmas caroling and an Easter egg hunt.

Men: Occasional outings such as a golf tournament, turkey shoot, Red Hawks game are held. Breakfast and fellowship opportunities occasionally occur.

Senior Citizens: Special activities during the year include a Valentine's party and an occasional trip to a local concert etc.

sMusic Ministriess

Bands: Either the Praise and Worship Band or the Contemporary Band leads worship at one service each Sunday during the school year. Julie Joyce Smith is the contact person for Praise & Worship and Teresa Buntrock for the Contemporary Band.

sPrayer Ministriess

Prayer Chain: The Prayer Chain takes requests for prayers for those in need. Through an email chain or telephone call chain, all members of the Prayer Chain pray for the particular individual. The Prayer Ministry group also takes requests from the Pastor to pray for church needs.

sWomen's Ministriess

Bible Study: Rachel Circle meets on the first Thursday of the month, and Ruth/Naomi Circle meets on the second Tuesday of the month, each at 2:00 p.m. in the Mary Martha room. The Lutheran Women of Today Bible study is used by both circles.

Women of God Bible Study meets on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Mary Martha room. All women are welcome!

Book Club: Each month a different book is chosen by the club and discussed. Their meeting date is on Sunday evening.

sYouth Ministriess 

Kids Club-Grades 3- 6: Kids Club meets at 3:45 p.m. on two Mondays each month during the school year. They alternate between a lesson, craft activity, and service project, such as going to Casselwood to play games. All kids in grades 3-6 are welcome.

Youth Activities: MYO (Martin's Youth Organization) is a weekly fellowship group involving singing, playing, praying, talking, and learning. During the school year, Jr MYO (grades 6-8) meets after school on Wednesday and grades 9-12 meets on Wednesday evening during the school year.

sArt Ministriess 

Awesome Worship: Martin's occasionally offers a combination worship and art education experience for all ages.
