Pastoral Visitation at Hospitals Federal regulation places restrictions on access to patient listings at hospitals for the public, including churches and pastors.  If you or a family member enters a hospital and wish to have your name listed on the patient list, you must provide consent for release of information when admitted.  Without this consent, it is possible that your pastors will not know you've been admitted.  Please sign the consent form and have family contact the church if you wish a pastor to visit.
