Mosher Pilgrim Presbyterian Church

Purpose
To minister to those in need or distress both within the congregation and in the community. The Board of Deacons shall be primary liason between Session, the congregation, and the community; for all requests and disbursements of bequests.

The Stephens Center: For the last decade, Mosher-Pilgrim has cooked and served meals at the Stephen Center.  We currently serve breakfast on the 5th Sunday of the month, and recently established a program of buying lunch meat on a monthly basis.  Also, on the first Sunday of the month, we collect personal hygiene items (such as toothpaste, soap, and deodorant).  New or gently used towels and blankets are also appreciated.

Recycling Aluminum Cans: this is another project that benefits the Food Pantry. The cans are collected in a special bin located at the church.

Memorial Fund and Service: an Annual Memorial Service which remembers those members of Mosher-Pilgrim that have deceased the previous year is held each November.  A Memorial Fund is maintained by the Deacons.  Funds may be donated for a specific use or for general distribution as the Deacons see fit.

Transportation: A service is available for anyone who needs a ride to our worship service.

Thanksgiving baskets are delivered to church shut-ins and Christmas baskets are delivered to area families in need.
