For nearly 60 years, pastor Jim has been preaching.  In 2012 he will be included in a project searching for the "best of the best" of the world's preachers. His chapters in two books will be "If I Had My Preaching Ministry to Do Over Again, I Would . . ." and in another book, "If I Had My Ministry to Do Over Again, I Would . . ."

Pastor sees his role as assistant to the members of the church.  Jim has been pastor in Weeping Water for seven years, the longest time in the history of the church.

We have three fine elders:

Matt Mogensen, a business man, active walker, faithful servant of the Lord.

Rick Bond, an excellent farmer, who has a level head and gives faithful support to the members of the church.

Keith Hammons, owner of the local funeral home, leads worship and has been active in the First Christian Church in Weeping Water all his life.

All three share in the many outreach ministries of this little congregation. All three sing in the choir. They support and enhance the other members and potential members.
