Reverend Jackie Kalinowski loves working with couples, creating and performing weddings. Your wedding should include these elements – beauty, emotion, tears (happy ones), commitment, smiles (lots of them), as well as, the overall power of the moment, when the bride makes her entrance. This is one of the most memorable and important events in a family's life.
As your clergy and a friend, your wedding planning is something I take seriously – whether it's a grand event in the most sought after location in town or a simple, private 10-minute affair in your best friend's living room. Making your wedding EVERYTHING, you want is what matters most.

Consulting / Consultations
As your clergy, I will contact you by both telephone and email to schedule in-person meetings. You are always welcome to call and/or email us with any questions regarding your ceremony.
Writing Vows and / or Ceremony
Reverend Jackie has an extensive library of customary and usual ceremonies. The parts of these ceremonies can be mixed and matched, to develop a "standard" ceremony. Alternatively, if you like, you may add your own selected readings and/or vows that you have written or borrowed from someone else. In addition, Reverend Jackie can personalize, customize, and develop a more unusual script. Special rituals can be added such as a Unity Candle or memorial to deceased family members, or vows for children of the bride or groom. Unique prayers and religious touches can also be added. Reverend Jackie will be ready with ideas after reading the answers to your bride and groom questionnaire.
Planning and Directing
Some people call it "choreography" when the members of the wedding party must know ahead of time where, when and how to stand and move during the ceremony. As an experienced director, Reverend Jackie will treat your wedding ceremony as the production that it was meant to be. While open to your suggestions, at the same time Reverend Jackie will give you clear advice on the flow of the ceremony. The rehearsal will be a satisfying experience that will allow each participant to come away confident in their role and comfortable with their responsibility. Reverend Jackie will not only provide explicit directions but she will use the ceremony venue to its greatest advantage to show off the bride and groom and the whole wedding party to the attending guests.
Attendance at Rehearsals
Typically, our planning sessions prepare couples well enough so that our attendance at a rehearsal may not be required. Additionally, there is often a family member or close friend who would just love to organize the rehearsal. If the ceremony is relatively simple with a small party, you may not find our attendance necessary. If there are a number of people and/or activities involved, however, or if you have chosen the Full Service Package, it is best to have a separate rehearsal. Please check with us during our first discussion as to our availability for a rehearsal before the wedding. Even if I will not be attending the rehearsal, I am available for consultation for issues pertaining to the ceremony right up until the wedding day.
The personalized ceremony script will be of great assistance during your rehearsal. Bring it with you!
If I do attend your rehearsal, I will walk everyone through his or her parts of the ceremony and provide guidance along the way to be sure that everything comes together and flows beautifully. A wedding with this amount of care and detail will be wonderful, meaningful and exactly what you want. ...And do not forget to create some outrageous make-believe vows for your rehearsal!
