The Food Pantry at St.
Barnabas Episcopal Church provides much needed food to families in
our community each week. On an average month, the Pantry provided
over 400 children with nutritious food and other staples such as
diapers, juice, soap, etc. After The demise of AIDS Resource Center
at St. Barnabas, who maintained their own food pantry, the number of families knocking on our doors in need of help increased exponentially. Our empty shelves are a strong reminder of the increased demand for help and our decreasing supply of food supplies. We are constantly in need of resources to help us with our mission. Non-perishable food is always needed.

The Food Pantry relies on
friends in the retail grocery business, food manufacturers and
wholesalers for donations of their surplus items; especially
perishable foods like meat, dairy products, bread, fresh fruits and
vegetables. Donating surplus food inventory is a safe and efficient
way to reduce warehouse storage and disposal costs.
It's cost effective to
donate it, not dump it. Cased inventory can be transported to the
Food Bank on pallets. Take advantage of tax benefits, while providing
food to our Neighbors in need. Contact the Food Pantry about donating
