Trinity Church has had a long and distinguished presence in Moorestown. We stand at an exciting new threshold in our history as we begin the new millennium. We face the problems and the challenges of a new century and already we are beginning to see a resurgence of spirit and growth that is necessary if we are to survive into this new century. We invite YOU to join us!
Who We Are Trinity is a broad and inclusive church. We have room under our roof for people from all different backgrounds and cultures, with a wide variety of different customs, points of view, lifestyles and talents. This parish will continue to embrace them all and enable them to exercise the ministries to which they feel that God has called them together. Together, we can work as a well-coordinated body of Christ in the world, wonderfully bound by His Spirit, with everthing that we do resounding with His praise and for His glory.
Trinity Episcopal Church is a worshiping community of Christians responding to God's call to love Christ, to know Christ, and to serve in our time and in this place. We are called, collectively and individually, to proclaim by word and by example, the Good News of God in Christ, seeking and serving Christ in all persons, striving for justice and peace among all people, and respecting the dignity of every human being. As faithful stewards of God's bounty, we pledge ourselves to an ever-deepening personal commitment to use our resources rightly in the service of others to his honor and glory, and we invite all persons to join us in giving themselves to this ministry of God's work in our community and his world.

Our Community
Moorestown is a town of more than 19,000 residents located in Burlington County in southern New Jersey. Dating to colonial days (1682), its main street is the old King's Highway, the road George Washington's troops took on their way to the Battle of Monmouth during the American Revolution. Moorestown combines the best of suburbia with the best of a small town. It is within easy commuting distance (12 miles) of Philadelphia, with its cultural, educational, entertainment and sports offerings. As a residential community, Moorestown is highly sought after for its highly-ranked public schools, peaceful neighborhoods, housing, location, and many other attributes and amenities.
In the summer of 2005, Money Magazine chose Moorestown as its Number One Community in which to live.

History of Trinity Church
Our facility is registered with the National Historical Society, a testimony to the roots of Trinity Church in the community. Hallmarks of Rural English Neo-Gothic style are incorporated into the high, vaulted ceilings, pointed arches, buttresses and extensive stained glass. The exterior and interior of the church are rich with hundreds of religious and biblical symbols carved in stone, wood, and glass. Bench pew seating is conservatively estimated at 243, although we have records of more than 400 attending at any one time.
Our parish hall has two levels connected to the church by a cloistered hallway. Near the entrance to the parish hall is St. Luke's Chapel, which is open to the public from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily. The interior incorporates the altar, colonnade, and stained glass windows from the old church built in 1839.
The two-story school wing was built in 1961 to accommodate the increasing need for Christian education. In the spring of 2000, we opened Trinity Church Preschool, utilizing the classrooms not just on Sunday mornings, but during the week as well. Enrollment at our preschool now stands at 120 young students.
Trinity has a fully-sold cemetery with headstones dating back to the 1700's, which is maintained through a special fund. In addition, ashes are interred in the Cloister Garden, where a bronze plaque contains the names of the deceased.
