PALM SUNDAY LUNCHEON 2009
Beloved members of our community The Palm Sunday luncheon Committee would like to thank all who supported the event by attending, the luncheon donating food, money time and work. A special thank you to our chefs, George Seitis, Nicolas Tsilimidos and Michael Patras for the delicious luncheon they prepared for us. Also many thanks to Father Angelo who is always there to support and provide spiritual guidance, and our church secretary Mrs. Alexandra who always help us when we have such events of our church. A very special thank you to all the diner & restaurant owners who donated most of the food items. May God bless you and keep you healthy and well . Christos Anesti!

We want to thank the Christopher family, who hosted the Lazarus Communion Breakfast, held on Saturday, April 11 th . It was a wonderful gathering! The decorations were lovely, the food yummy, and most of all, it was wonderful to see how many children attended! It was clearly a warm and loving event…And now, we also have experts in the art of palm cross making! All the children contributed to the palms crosses received on Palm Sunday -- from pre-school to high school! Great job, kids!
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Back in March, we had Godparents’ Sunday, and we want to thank all the godparents who joined the Sunday School students in their classes on Godparents’ Sunday. It was an experience that both the children and godparents’ thoroughly enjoyed. A big thanks goes out to Debbie Mattos and Mike Koudis, who coordinated and provided crafts for this joyous event.

§ Sunday, May 10 – Mother’s Day (Spring Craft)
§ Sunday, June 7 – Sunday School Graduation

SENIOR CITIZENS
Christos Anesti to al!! Hope you spent A Happy and blessed Easter Week. Thank you to George Bratsano for conducting the April 12 meeting in my absence. Approximately 22 members attended and I thank Father Angelo for his input. Following the meeting a luncheon was hosted by Helen Catelanos. A Jello dessert was enjoyed by all. Our next meeting will be May 9, Lynn Markus is in charge. Sandwiches will be served with salads and dessert. I want to thank all the members who donate sodas, desserts and coffee at all our meetings. Also thank you to those members who add extra dollars when the basket is passed. Let’s do our part for the Greek Festival by volunteering where we can. See you soon. ~Tana Kizides
