WAKE UP JERUSALEM - EASTER DRAMA FOR YOUTH
The youth of our church will present a one-act Easter drama in worship on April 13. This is a fun play that will teach us all something about the meaning of Easter Day. All youth in grades 5 and up are welcome and encouraged to participate -- plenty of adult help will be needed as well. Rehearsal dates to be announced.
CHILDREN'S CHOIR
The Children's Choir resumes rehearsal on Wednesday, September 13 at 6:45 pm. All children are invited to join the choir directed by Roberta Keller.
YOUTH GROUP ACTIVITIES
The Youth Group of Meyersville Presbyterian Church is for those in grades 6 through 12 and has been expanded to include youth from Trinity Presbyterian in Warren and First Presbyterian in Stirling. Participating in these activities is a great way for the youth of our church to be involved and also an opportunity to meet and have fun with young people from other neighborhood churches.
CHURCH SCHOOL OFF TO A GOOD START!
Our church school program is off to a good start this fall. We have classes for children age 3 through 7th grade, and confirmation class is for grades 8 and 9. The church school will be using the Bible Quest curriculum which is focused on reading, telling, understanding and remembering the great stories of the Bible. There are many activities to keep the Sunday school hour moving and interesting. Our teachers are committed to doing their best to make our children's church school experience meaningful - serving our congregation's promise at baptism to raise these children in the faith, to teach them about the love of God.
CONFIRMATION CLASS NEWS
