The Center for Healing and Wholeness is an interfaith and inter-disciplinary center dedicated to serving the community.We provide our services regardless of age, race, gender, ethnic background, or religious affiliation. Staff members are trained, certified, and/or licensed in their disciplines.

Dr. Mary Roberts, Ph.D. - Director
Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Roberts comes to us with a long career in treating children, their families, and people with anxiety and a history of trauma.  Dr. Roberts completed her education at Duke and Stanford Universities.  She holds Post-doctorate Degrees from the Devereaux Foundation and Temple University, with further studies at the Maudsley Hospital in London, England; The University of  Colorado; and the University of  Pennsylvania.  She retired from Children’s Seashore House of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 2002.  She has maintained a private practice since 1977.

Even though the initial printing of our brochure was just completed, we are revising and editing as we speak. We have added support groups, amended times, added staff members, added a second location, and changed from fees to suggested donations. 

Our grief support group will change from meeting once a month to twice a month. The Chronic Pain support group will begin meeting Thursday, April 10^th, and will meet the 2^nd & 4^th Thursday evenings of each month. Grandparents: Especially Grandparents Raising Grandchildren is scheduled to start in June and will meet on the 2^nd & 4th Tuesdays of each month during the morning hours at a satellite location at the Holy Spirit Episcopal Church on East Main Street in Tuckerton.

Achieving Economic Goals, and Families of Deployed Military Personnel are in the planning stages. Please give us a call if you have any interest in either of these groups.
