We should all be so proud of our youth group teens! When a need arises, they are there to offer a helping hand and support. When something needs to be done, they really come through. This past month had us doing lots of helping out: at the Food Pantry, the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper, the CADY Valentine dinner, and even at the 4th of July Committees Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser.

Thanks to all the wonderful teens who gave of their time to help out. And a special thanks to their parents and all the adults in their lives for showing them what being a Christian is all about. They certainly are demonstrating their faith by helping others! Way to go!

This coming month brings us to our annual Progressive Lock-In that we look forward to all year. It also gives us the opportunity to meet often (barring anymore snow!)  to continue our Lenten topics. Palm Sunday night we will meet for Dessert and a Movie to prepare us for Holy Week. We will even fit in a trip to the Food Pantry again - we just need to reschedule the day ( I don’t think we’d be much help after not sleeping all night at the lock-in!). We’re always busy, but, with all this young energy, that’s a great thing!
