Baby it’s Cold Outside!

Winter is here whether we like it or not! There are lots of ways to stay warm and cozy when the wind is blowing and Jack Frost is making us shiver-sit by the fire, wear wool socks, don your warm boots and gloves or an extra blanket to snuggle down in. But just because Christmas is over, doesn’t mean that we can warm ourselves up on the inside by giving of ourselves to those around us. What better way to beat the wintertime blues than by helping at the food pantry, volunteering your time with Interfaith, just helping out a neighbor or those awesome people we live with! I pray that with the new year, you keep the Christmas spirit going because that attitude of giving and gratitude is what will keep you warm until spring and beyond!

There are lots of events going on this month with the youth. We will head to the bowling alley for a late night of fun, help at the nursing home and possibly the food pantry. We will also have a family dessert and movie night. All of our devotions will help us gear up for our February trip to America’s Keswick for our annual Mid-Winter Advance. Please note the change in meeting time for the new year...I pray this makes life easier on everyone. And remember, bring a friend! The more the merrier!

Whatever you need, I’m only a call away

In His love,
