Christmas Gifts for needy families

Each year Almond Union of Churches sponsors families in our community for Christmas.  In addition to presents for each person in the family, the food needed to prepare a delightful holiday meal is also provided.

This year is no different.  There are lists in the church and at the church office of people who are being sponsored.  Any gift for any individual on the list is greatly appreciated.  The congregation is awesome in bringing in donated gift items.  We ask that gifts be brought in and placed under the tree by the Feast of Carols program on December 14. 

Volunteers will be needed to donate the items, then especially to sort the gifts by gender and ages for the families who will get them.  Volunteers then personally deliver all the packages.  We give Christmas to people who would otherwise have no Christmas, and the love of Christ is shared with people in need.  If you can help with this, please contact the Church Office.
