- Acknowledge that they are a sinner:
"For all have sinned." (Romans 3:23)
"The wages of sin is death.." (Romans 6:23) - Realize that Jesus died for their sins.
"But God demonstrated His own love toward us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8) - Repent of their sin and accept Christ's blood as the payment for sin.
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)
