The clergy currently serving at the parish:

The Rev’d Dr. Shaw Mudge is Rector of the parish. He brings a variety of experience. Fr. Mudge holds theological degrees from Trinity Episcopal School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA.

Within the diocese, he currently serves as Secretary of the Diocese of Albany, Vice President of the Metropolitan Deanery, Chair of the diocesan Salary and Benefits Committee, Chair of the diocesan Deputation to General Convention, and Member of the diocesan Constitution and Canons Committee.

Prior to Christ Episcopal Church, Fr. Mudge served simultaneously as Rector of Christ Church in Walton and Priest-in-Charge of St. Paul's in Bloomville. Previously, he had been ordained a priest at St. Timothy's in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he had been serving as a deacon.

Fr. Mudge has prior business leadership experience, serving as a corporate officer and board member, serving in the capacity of general management, and specializing in human resources of an international fragrance manufacturing firm.

He served on the National Advisory Council of the U. S. Small Business Administration and the Connecticut Employment and Training Commission.

 The Rev'd Julia Mudge is the Assistant Rector of the parish and Secretary of the Metropolitan Deanery. A liturgical composer, pianist, and homeschool teacher, Mtr. Julie serves as a member of the Diocesan Liturgy and Church Music Committee, Secretary of the Metropolitan Deanery, and has been a spiritual advisor to Albany Episcopal Cursillo. She is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and of St. Bernard's School of Theology and Ministry.

Fr Shaw and Mtr. Julie have three daughters . The Mudges live within eyesight of where one of Fr. Mudge’s ancestors ventured, in the mid 1600’s.
