Saint James' Episcopal Church

On Sunday, November 13, 2011, Al and Kathy Bain gave an entertaining program of bluegrass music in St. James' parish hall. Desserts and hot beverages were served and donations were asked for the benefit of the Fort Edward food pantry and the Moreau Community Center food pantry. Four hundred dollars was donated. St. James' will match the amount so that each food pantry will receive four hundred dollars.

At the annual meeting of St. James' Episcopal Church the following persons were elected to the executive committee:
Robert Dickenson, warden; Gloria O'Sick, Rosemary "Pat" Washburn, and Carol Bromley.
A reception was held to thank Shirley Moss for her many years as Warden of St. James'.

The Vestry of St. James Church, Fort Edward is pleased to announce that Bishop William Love of the Episcopal Diocese of Albany has appointed the Rev'd Canon Charles B. King, Jr. SSC Vicar of the Parish effective November 30, 2008, the first Sunday in Advent. Father King is a retired priest of the diocese.
