St. Philip's Episcopal Church is hosting an Ecumenical Thanksgiving Eve Service on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. All are invited - bring your friends and neighbors. Thanksgiving Eve Worship Service  Wednesday ~ November 25, 2009 St. Philip’s Episcopal Church 42 South Main Street Norwood, NY Invitation Norwood Churches, Houses of Worship, and Community Members, join in an Ecumenical Thanksgiving Eve Service worship with St. Philip’s Congregation Please invite your friends and neighbors... We have so much for which to be thankful – let us give thanks and share these blessings. The Offering will be donated to Pastor Stockwell for medical-related expenses.
St. Philip's Christmas Celebration Bazaar is Saturday, December 5, 2009, at the Church Parish Hall, 42 South Main Street, Norwood, NY. 
Featured will be home-baked goods, candy, homemade craft items - knits, sewing items, fresh greens table with wreaths and garlands, plus other small evergreen decorations - all hand made. Also a jewlery table with handmade earrings, necklaces - seasonal and all occasion. And of course, a white elephant table. A luncheon will also be served featuring homemade soups and sandwiches, beverages, and dessert. An opportunity to receive a handmade quilt, a handmade tree skirt, and other gift certificates are available. If you have items that you wish to donate to the bazaar, please see Joan Ladouceur.

 The Women's Bible Study meets on Thursday morning following the Eucharist and Healing Service which begins at 10:00 a.m. All women of the church are invited, welcomed, and encouraged to attend this study. See Deacon Peggy for details. Newly informed or newly interested are welcomed.
The Men's Bible Study has begun. The group meets on the 4th Sunday of each month at 9:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Mark you calendar - coffee and donuts are available to nourish your body and spiritual readings and dialogue are available to nourish your mind and spirit.
