Preparation for all Vestry members. By action of the Diocesan Convention all Vestry members are strongly encouraged to take two courses to meet the national standards for our liability insurance. The courses are (Sam Leadley can help you with registration):

St. Paul’s Fall Fair will be October 18. It is not too soon to begin thinking about how you can contribute to the success of the Fall Fair – sewing, cooking, looking for attic treasures.
Do you need to monitor your blood pressure? This parish nurse ministry by Irma Altman is every third Sunday. The next one will be Sunday, September 21st.
The Sunday School thanks you for participating in their Can & Bottle collection. They have a container for clean redeemable cans and bottles in the Parish Hall near the door when you enter.
Sconces are in place now in the parish hall Please note how nice the new wall sconces look in the parish hall. Currently they were paid for with money from the memorial fund. If you would like to purchase one in honor or memory of a person, speak to either warden (Cindy, Amy) about doing that.
Nametags are on the vestibule table. Try to remember to wear your tag this Fall so visitors will feel welcome. If you do not have a tag, lost your tag or need yours changed, please leave a note on the blue card on the bulletin board next to the nametags.
Grocery gift cards are for sale by the ECW. For each dollar purchased, the ECW receives 5 percent toward their annual budget. Ask Susan Briggs for one or more cards in $20 and $50 amounts. When you buy groceries, these gift cards are the same as cash at TOPS, & Pharmacy – just slide them through the credit card reader for credit toward your purchases. Any balance remaining on the card carries ahead to your next purchase. Also receive credit toward gasoline purchases.

Copies of the current prayer list are on the table at the rear of the church if you wish to pray for individuals on this list.
Byron Presbyterian Church Turkey Dinner will be on Sunday, October 19th between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Adults $7.50, Children 6-12 $4.50, Under 6 free.
Genesee Deanery Council meeting will be at St. Paul’s Stafford on Tuesday, September 23.
