Although originally affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Augustana (Swedish) Synod, Emanuel has joined in a series of Lutheran merges throughout this century. Now we are part of the Upstate New York Synod of the nationwide Evangelical Lutheran in America, the largest single body of Lutherans in the United States.

In 2000, our congregation celebrated the 85^th anniversary of its founding, greeting a brand-new millennium with hope and joy!
