IMPORTANT NOTICE:
We rejoice as Christians that God has called our head elder John Lucker home to Him. John passed away Sunday morning, January 10th. We at St. Luke's will greatly miss this wonderful man of God, and ask that you keep his wife Uli and all of the Lucker family in your prayers.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 14th from 4pm to 7pm at the Libby Funeral Home, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, New York (off Route 9D, turn right at the monument). A funeral service will be held at St. Luke's on Friday, January 15th at 11am. A luncheon will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be given to St. Luke's. No special envelope or forms are necessary; please add a note or notation on the check that the gift is in Memory of John Lucker.

Thanks to LuHi's Lutheran Crusader Fund for again selecting St. Luke's Youth Ministry for a grant that will enable us to continue our work on a special project creating a new youth ministry room. This room will allow our youth to enjoy Christian fellowship while equipping them to spread the Gospel and assist people in need !

Youth are called by the Holy Spirit through Word and Sacrament to full partnership in the community of faith and challenged to full participation in the life and ministry of Christ and His church. St. Luke's seeks to nurture that partnership through its newly formed youth ministry.
Our newly formed Youth Group has been hard at work developing its ministry and raising funds. Please support their efforts!
