Welcome to Trinity! Trinity is both a school and a church. We are honored to help you educate your children. We have conducted an elementary school for children in the Bronx for sixty years.
Your child's growth and development are very important to us. We think that spiritual development is just as vital to your child as academic and social development.
Trinity School opens each school day with a short devotional exercise which includes Scripture reading, prayer, and singing. Frequently we also spend time with a portion of Luther's Small Catechism (such as the Ten Commandments, the Creed, Baptism, etc.). Once a week we celebrate a full service with a brief sermon and The Thanksgiving Meal (Holy Communion). During that service we usually receive offerings from the students which goes to support some worthy cause outside Trinity or to support the minor costs of the service itself. (We will announce in the Tiger Pause when we designate special offerings.)
We urge you to take your children to church. You need the support that God gives you in His Word and at His Table. Your children need that, perhaps even more. Take your child to church now so that he or she may find a role in the world of twenty and thirty years from now.
All of us here at Trinity (pastors, teachers, and students) will honor and respect your chosen house of worship. We guarantee that. (Our faculty members come from several different religious groups.)
If you are looking for a meaningful church home, we invite you to visit Trinity Church on Sunday at 10:00 AM. Come and experience worship with us. Stay and meet us at our refreshment hour. Our liturgy is not overly long and you can be on your way after and hour and a half, thoroughly refreshed both in spirit and body.
We are a loving Christian Family, serious about our faith. We want to share our treasure with others!
YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WELCOME! The people of Trinity invite you to share our spiritual life together. As us about Baptism, Communion, or Confirmation for your child or membership for yourself. The paths of preparation for each of these is exciting, meaningful, and pleasant. Ask us about them.
