We enjoy tax exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service, and any and all contributions made to "Saints Cyril and Methodius Church" are tax deductible under 501c3.    Our schedule for ordinations will progress as scheduled. We work with all candidates to offer the most effective means to access ordination to Holy Orders.    Those who have a strong knowledge of the faith, thorough understanding of the liturgy and its rubrics, have prior seminary training or who feel called to vocation may avail yourselves of our assistance.     We can assess vocation within a dialogue and offer dispensation or further studies under our own jurisdictional ordination to the priesthood.    We also receive incardination from other jurisdictions.     Email us with your request and supply us with copies of your documents, and our bishops will inform you of their decision within a short time.

Our young people need us. We don't often understand that but they do. How did we grow up into being adults if not by observing the lives of others, learning from their teachings and suggestions, and their generosity of character. We somehow think, even as parents some of us, that kids grow up just like plants. The more we neglect them the better they will come to be themselves and will bloom from maturity.    That isn't the case at all. As adults we need to give them role models. We need to show them what it is like to put the christian life into practice. And to show them too how to worship God, and even to come to know Him personally.

Do we ever think to include young people when we pray? Do we make sure they attend worship? Do we teach them beyond their individual baptism? Often we become embroiled in the everyday world and neglect to see that they are new to the world and need guidance and information so they can make informed decisions for themselves and their society.   And do we point out to them that they need to become a useful part of society? Or do we let them languor in their own desires, boredom, and search for entertainment. There is much more beyond video games, television, movies, music, fashions, and parties. Yes they need to do all these things, but they also need a perspective on our society and the issues of social justice, freedoms and privileges in our society.    Many times the only way we see what we have taught them is by their expressing negative or destructive emotions. We taught them those by example. Likewise we also teach them the positive things too by example. As we are told, no one is an island. We need one another; we are social beings. Like other animals we need to know our place in society and how to carry out that place well. Morality should guide us in not only living in the world but not being swept away by the major events which sometimes come to us like tidalwaves.    If we are unprepared for these major earth shaking changes then we should know that our young people are less stable to withstand these than we are able.   Kindness and joy affect all around us. If we are kind and joyful, the lives of our children and our neighbor's children will also be satsifying and productive. We pray God enlighten us, and guide us in the formation of our youth, so that we can witness proudly their stepping up to their obligations as adults, while they put away their childhood toys and childish attitudes.
