A congregational meeting will be held on Sunday, November 1st following worship for the purpose of dismissing the PNC.  A coffee hour will also be held to welcome our new pastor, Reverend Joy Bergfalk, to East Bethany.  We hope that everyone will be able to join us!

The book club has chosen "The Hiding Place" by Corrie Tenboom with Elizabeth & John Sherrill as their 2nd book selection.   The next book club meeting will be Tuesday, November 17th at 7 pm at the Covington Church in Pavilion.  Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy an evening of discussion and fellowship!  Snacks will be provided.  For more information, contact Megan Logsdon at 356-9438.

Holiday Happenings, our annual craft/vendor fair, will be held on Saturday, November 14th from 9 am until 3 pm.  If anyone is interested in having a table, please contact Katie Taylor at 502-5213.  Be sure to come out and get a jump on your holiday shopping while supporting local vendors.  The deacons will be serving lunch--made or order sandwiches and homemade soups and chili.  There will also be a small Chinese Auction.   Something for everyone!

Anyone who is interested in reserving the church for an event should contact Susan Boyle at 344-2931 or 343-6279 to fill out a building use agreement.  All requests must be approved by Session.
