LIFELONG FAITH FORMATION

The work of catechetical ministry has come to be understood as the work of the Church which embraces the faithful in their formation process 'womb to tomb'. Of particular challenge is to situate adults at the heart of our formational and catechetical endeavors. The reorganization of our catechetical process allows us to broaden the scope of our ministry to serve the growing needs of St. Mary St. Mark Parish. As we work to re-organize, we hope that we are doing more to spread the Gospel and less to interfere with the Spirit at work!

Lifelong Faith Formation Session Schedule
Each session will be held on a Sunday beginning at 8:30 a.m., and the host site will alternate between St. Mary, Holley and St. Mark, Kendall.

September 10, 2009 - St. Mary, Holley (refer to mailing for meeting times)

October 18, 2009 - St. Mark, Kendall

November 15, 2009 - St. Mary, Holley

December 20, 2009 - St. Mark, Kendall

January 17, 2010 - St. Mary, Holley

April 11, 2010 - St. Mark, Kendall - Closing celebration

April 19 week - "check in" with parents
May 2 (Holley) - Retreat, parent meeting, practice

First Reconciliation
February 1 (Kendall) - 8:30 Mass, Initial Meeting
February 15-22 week - "check in" with parents
March 14 (Kendall) - 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Retreat, parent meeting, practice
March 28 (Kendall) - 11:00 a.m. First Reconciliation celebration
