Pastor Ericessen A. Cooper  was installed as Pastor of the New York City Seventh Day Baptist Church on April 22, 2005.  He has been actively engaged in church service for most of his life, serving as Moderator and Youth Fellowship President.

A family man, Pastor Cooper married the love of his life, Crystal, and have 3 beautiful children, Chenille, Jibreel and Kaila.

Building Despite Circumstances! (Nehemiah 4 - 6)

Nehemiah faced great opposition as soon as he and the children of God decided to build the wall that had lay in ruins for years. 

Understand that when we make a commitment to the Lord, the devil will do all he can to hinder you from following through on your commitment. Mockings and ridicule, financial hardships, family problems, physical ailments are all part of satan's arsenal to take your focus off of God.  Understand that God is bigger than any problem or situation that you will ever face and there is nothing too hard for Him to do. Like Nehemiah, don't take your focus off of your commitment to God and you will be amazed by the strength God will give you!
