OUR VISION

We live in a culture that is hurting. From stories of abuse and neglect among families to poverty and disease, men, women, and children alike are struggling to find healing and wholeness.

From our local community to Africa the most basic need is still the same: to fill the vacuum that is inside of each of us. We've tried filling it with everything this world has to offer and those with the most of what the world has to offer are proof that happiness can not be found in any of those things.

We believe that true fulfillment, true happiness, true peace can only be found in one place: a transformed life by Jesus Christ.

The Belfast United Methodist Church exists to bring that life transformation to our community, area, and world! We believe that the #1 purpose of the church is to MAKE DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRIST! Everything we do, every ministry we begin is with that one purpose in mind.
