We Invite You…

  • To be a recipient of the most perfect love

And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God's marvelous love. And may you have the power to understand, as all God's people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. (Ephesians 3:17-18)

  • To be made a child of God

So you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26)

But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. They are reborn! This is not a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan – this rebirth comes from God. (John 1:12-13)

  • To receive forgiveness for all your failings and sin

He is so rich in kindness that he purchased our freedom through the blood of his Son, and our sins are forgiven. (Ephesians 1:7)

He personally carried away our sins in his own body on the cross so we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. You have been healed by his wounds! Christ also suffered when he died for our sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners that he might bring us safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit. (1 Peter 2:24 , 3:18)

  • To be freed from judgment

God did not send his Son into the world to condemn it, but to save it. There is no judgment awaiting those who trust him. But those who do not trust him have already been judged for not believing in the only Son of God. (John 3:17-18)

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. For the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you through Christ Jesus from the power of sin that leads to death. ( Romans 8:1-2)

  • To overcome the control of sin

Sin is no longer your master, for you are no longer subject to the law, which enslaves you to sin. Instead, you are free by God's grace. (Romans 6:14)

What this means is that those who become Christians become new persons. They are not the same anymore, for the old life is gone. A new life has begun! (2 Corinthians 5:17)

  • To receive new power for daily living

For I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need. (Philippians 4:13)

  • To know for certain you will receive eternal life

For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23)

And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. So whoever has God's Son has life; whoever does not have his Son does not have life. I write this to you who believe in the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life. (1 John 5:11-13)

MORE IMPORTANTLY, JESUS INVITES YOU…

Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light." (Matthew 11:28-30)

My purpose is to give life in all its fullness. (John 10:10)

All human beings are born physically into this world at the time of their birth. But we are born spiritually dead in sin, and therefore need to be reborn in the spiritual sense. Jesus said:

Jesus replied, "I assure you, unless you are born again, you can never see the Kingdom of God ." ( John 3:3)

That new, spiritual rebirth is possible only in one way – by putting your faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord.

Perhaps you desire to accept Christ’s gracious invitation to this new and abundant life. Perhaps you desire this rebirth of the spirit, to open your own life to all the blessings mentioned above. Or maybe you aren’t really sure, in your own mind, where you stand in reflection to God, and would like to find some assurance about your eternal salvation.

YES, I WOULD LIKE TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THIS FAITH DECISION: We would be happy to talk and pray with you about that! It is the most important and wonderful step you could ever take in your life. Simply e-mail us  at parkmanchurch@windstream.net to let us know of your decision, and include a phone number on how to contact you.
