The first interest in Christian Science in Canton was shown when three early students began meeting to study the Lesson-Sermon in 1895.  The group grew larger and obtained a State Charter as "First Church of Christ, Scientist, Canton, Ohio" in 1898.

     Our previous edifice was erected in 1915 and served us well until the construction of our current edifice in 1997.  Our first service at our present location, 2501 Market Avenue North, was held Sunday, September 20, 1998.
